My name is Carrie Seger. I am a professional pet sitter, cat sitter, Dog sitter, and the I am the proud owner of Coastal Paws Pet Sitting. I am proud to call myself a professional pet sitter in beautiful Lincoln City, Oregon, with my husband of 36 years. My husband, Denis and I relocated our business here from Carlsbad, CA in 2018 and are happy to help pet owners! We are a family run business since 2007 now offering insured, loving, trusted, pet care in the Lincoln City, Oregon area! We don’t hire outside help. You hire us, we do the work. No strangers in your home.
My childhood was filled with all sorts of animals! My deep love for pets developed over the years. As a child, I was a member of the local 4-H program where I raised rabbits, then moved on to raise 3 steers (beef cattle). I have also ridden and shown horses competitively for most of my life. Showing hunter/jumpers and playing polo are my favorite! As I became aware of the need for a qualified pet sitter (insured, background checked and CPR pet first aid certified) and not thrilled with what I had found, or experienced myself, this led me to start Coastal Paws Pet Sitting. Being that animals have always filled my soul, I happily became a professional pet sitter.
Currently, we have our adorable Pug , “Teddy Bear”, and our Rhodesian Ridgeback, “Norman”, who bring us much joy! Our home has never been without pets.
In addition to wanting to provide impeccable care for your pets, and peace of mind for you, I started this company because when I travel, I worry about who I would hire to be my own reliable, responsible and loving pet sitter. It’s very important to me that my clients feel comfortable knowing their pets are in great hands with me as their pet sitter and not to worry about a thing when they are away. We stay in touch with you while you are away, via email, text or by phone and we leave a hand-written journal for you.

I have VERY high standards for my pets and their care as a pet owner. Consequently, I have implemented that into what I do now ~ caring for others’ pets in a responsible, loving, and thorough manner. I truly love this work, and love all my client’s pets as I love my own. Your pets become a part of our family and their impeccable care is paramount to our business model.
My goal is to create a bond with my clients as their pet sitter and with their beloved pets that will last a lifetime. We are fully insured, CPR Pet First Aid certified and background checked.
In addition to obtaining my Bachelors Degree in Journalism from California State University, Fullerton I also obtained three minor degrees in French, English Literature and Computer Science. I have trained dogs through the Canine Good Citizen level, and have nutritional and vaccination knowledge for cats/dogs as well. We feed the raw diet to our pets and are very homeopathic in their care.
My husband Denis and I have relocated our business to the gorgeous town of Lincoln City, Oregon! My mother lived here for 20 years, so it was a perfect fit to come here and be with our many friends we have made in the area since 1989.
My husband, Denis, helps me out when needed and is insured as well as equally loving and responsible with our client’s pets.
